Thoughts on do good design

After i read the book, i had a of thoughts coming out of my mind. As designers, what are we looking for? Why are we designing stuff? Who are we designing for? To start learning to do good design, we need to understand different aspects of world's design and transform them into a creative way. We need to consider the market economy. How to affect people by things we design. We can't only design for economic use, If we design for good then we are helping aid design to be more useful and not just creating good design.

I don't like the design of the umbrella because when i look at it, it makes me feel so hot, and aggresive in summer.
I don't like the chair, it looks inanimate. I think it would be better if it's wood material
the cash print on the Mickey mouse is pretty cool, but i don't think it fits to Mickey, cuze Mickey should be fantastic character, but cash is so realistic.
I think the design of this house should be magic, it doesn't look magic at all~~
